Details Syllabus: SSC CGL Syllabus Subjects Covered Quantitative Aptitude English Language General Intelligence and General Awareness All Languages ​​Covered Current Affairs and new topics that have been added to the syllabus are given here. SSC CHSL exam will be conducted at different stages. Tier 1 exam will be conducted on the first stage, in which Reasoning Ability, Quantity Aptitude, English Language, General Science, subject base exam will be conducted on the second stage. SSC Exam Pattern Tier 1 Phase

The first stage, Tier 1 of the SSC CHSL exam, is made up of four sections as described below:

SSC CHSL Mathematics Syllabus 2024

  • Number Systems: Computation of Whole Number, Decimal and Fractions, Relationship between numbers.
  • Fundamental arithmetical operations: Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Square roots, Averages, Interest (Simple and Compound), Profit and Loss, Discount, Partnership Business, Mixture and Allegation, Time and distance, Time and work.
  • Mensuration: Triangle, Quadrilaterals, Regular Polygons, Circle, Right Prism, Right Circular Cone, Right Circular Cylinder, Sphere, Hemispheres, Rectangular Parallelepiped, Regular Right Pyramid with triangular or square Base.
  • Algebra: Basic algebraic identities of School Algebra and Elementary surds (simple problems) and Graphs of Linear Equations.
  • Geometry: Familiarity with elementary geometric figures and facts: Triangle and its various kinds of centres, Congruence and similarity of triangles, Circle and its chords, tangents, angles subtended by chords of a circle, common tangents to two or more circles.
  • Trigonometry: Trigonometry, Trigonometric ratios, Complementary angles, Height and distances (simple problems only) Standard Identities like sin2 𝜃 + Cos2 𝜃=1 etc.
  • Statistical Charts: Use of Tables and Graphs: Histogram, Frequency polygon, Bar-diagram, Pie-chart.

SSC CHSL Tier 2 Syllabus:

  • Tier-II will have three sections, each containing two modules:
  • Section-1: Module-I deals with Mathematical Abilities and Module-II focuses on Reasoning and General Intelligence.
  • Section-2: Module-I involves English Language and Comprehension, while Module-II covers General Awareness.
  • Section-3: Module-I is a Computer Knowledge Test and Module-II is a Skill Test/Typing Test.
  • Tier-2 will take place in two sessions, Session-1 & Session-2, on the same day. Session-I will include Section-1, Section-2 and Module-1 of Section-3. Session-2 will cover Module-2 of Section-3.
  • Except for Module-2 of Section 3, Tier-2 will consist of objective type, multiple-choice questions. The questions will be set in both English and Hindi, except for the English Language and Comprehension module (Module-2) in Section 2.
  • There will be a penalty of 1 mark for each incorrect answer in Section-1, Section-2, and Module-I of Section-3.
